Morality Education of Buddhism and Society

It is designed to promote the value of Buddhism through education, training on Buddhist teachings and instruction in the curriculum for students.

The program including:

  • Pagoda Fund for Education: Organized to strengthen the role of pagodas as in ancient times, where pagodas were the pillars of education, both soft and hard skills. In the context of the technological generation, pagodas play an important role in mobilizing resources to support the field of Buddhist studies and lotus kindergartens in the community, which nurtures the next generation of children with virtues, knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Dharma for Youth on Holidays: A general education program on Buddhism and daily life designed to provide opportunities for young people and the general public to learn and understand the Dharma that is useful to their work in the field of education, leadership, education and management. The program have been run Saturday, Sunday by in -person and virtual.
  • Dharma for Adults: Abhidhamma Training of Trainer, Abhidhamma Courses, and General Knowledge Courses, including Meditation for Adolescent have been run every Saturday, Sunday by in-person and virtual.
  • Moral education in the education system: Train the monks with professional skills and pedagogy so that they can fulfil their role of educating and disseminating in the schools under each pagoda coverage.
  • Ordination in return for gratitude to parents, ancestors and the motherland: 10-day ordination course for faithful children has been provided the opportunity to learn to improve the quality of life and become a good child and a good citizen to support society.
  • Member Buddhist Health Program: has been working to improve the health of monks, members and former monks to have health insurance and other risks in accessing better public services.
  • Strengthening the Buddhist economy: has been working to improve the lives of young or adult Buddhists through loans for small and medium-sized businesses, skills training, orientation training and business support.
  • Buddhist International Program has been progressing by studying the Dharma of Buddhism in English for Cambodians and foreigners who want to study in a foreign language. The first learner of the Dharma for children.
